Whether you're a seasoned vet or just starting out on your HYROX journey, Armored Athlete offers the tools and expert guidance to help you prepare.

step 1

Schedule your initial success session and assessment.  During this session, an Armored Athlete team member will meet with you and guide you through our comprehensive HYROX movement and performance assessment to help determine the best starting point for you. 

STEP 2

Begin your individualized programming and training specifically tailored to your training needs and goals.  Plus, join our series of weekly group HYROX classes to help you supplement your individualized training program, optimally train, and prepare for your next HYROX Race.

hyrox fundamentals

Our 2 Week Hyrox Fundamentals course introduce participants to the movement standards, rules, and regulations of Hyrox while developing the key movement patterns, mobility, baseline conditioning, and baseline strength before jumping into our other Hyrox classes.  The 2 Week Fundamentals class culminates with our Hyrox PFT (Physical Fitness Test) to test and showcase your starting point before graduating into our next level of Hyrox classes.

hyrox Foundational

Our Foundational class is a fairly straightforward class, as it resembles traditional circuit training. The objective of this class is to build baseline fitness: Strength, Endurance, some aerobic capacity, agility and skill work.

hyrox engine

Our Engine class boosts endurance, aerobic capacity, lactate threshold and tolerance. The class utilizes a series of intervals, compromised workouts, and sprint efforts to develop speed, VO2 Max, and endurance. You will benefit tremendously from this class format if you’re a more powerful athlete who needs to work on aerobic capacity.

Muscular strength and endurance is critical in a HYROX race. You need to recruit tremendous muscular power, to move weight over time, and to do it while fatigued. For athletes who need to build muscle and strength, our Power class is ideal.

hyrox complete

Our Complete class brings everything all together.  Complete training is going to be the most race specific workout. A blend of aerobic and lactic conditioning with strength and HYROX specific skills. Complete classes prepare you for the specific physiological demands you will encounter in a HYROX race. It will challenge you physically and mentally, while building a level of familiarity and comfort in the discomfort of these challenges.

The Armored Athlete Hyrox Run Club is the perfect addition to your training to help improve your running mechanics, pace, and conditioning for Hyrox.  Our run club is open to any and all level participants.  - COMING SOON
